The Team

  • Creative Director

    Specializes in: Videography, Color Correction, Video Editing, Lighting, Multimedia Production, Communication

    Brian graduated from Indiana University in 2016 where he focused on screenwriting, media production, communication, culture, and history.

    Since then, he has worked in a variety of roles—from visual communications contracting with the U.S. Army Reserve to working as a PA on low budget film sets, and freelancing across live performances, weddings, musicals, plays, educational videos, how-to’s, marketing content, interviews, lectures, Q&As, etc.

    For several years he worked at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business as a Learning Media Producer. There he had opportunities to work with faculty on courses, as well as local and global businesses through visually driven case-competitions.

    Sometime shortly after college he wrote a book penned as James Bryan called, Wahoo. It tells stories of commercial fishing for halibut when he was 19, which are crazy.

    Brian’s other interests include Qigong, Taiji, Yoga, Massage Therapies, Somatic Therapies, Guitar, and Poetry.

    In addition to his Creative Director role with No Guru Media, Brian is an Instructor of Qigong and owns a wellness company, Tea & Qi Massage Therapy, where he is a practicing licensed massage therapist.

    Eric was born and raised in central Indiana. A multi-instrumentalist, he started studying and performing music at a young age. His love for music spread into an interest in production and audio technology. Eric moved to Bloomington to attend Indiana University. Studying Media Production, he was able to work on short films and gain experience in on-campus television studios. He continued to record local bands and artists working on several albums, singles, and EPs. While working in the industry, Eric began crossing back into video production. In 2023, he decided to join No Guru Media and combine his expertise with Brian’s to elevate the client experience and deliver the best product possible.
